Holy Water of the Dead Gods of the Forgotten Realms

These special powers are usable by any character unless a special class restriction or other limiting factor is noted. No holy water is barred from anyone, but a priest would have severe reservations about using the waters of a radically opposed faith.
All Holy waters do 2d4 damage to Evil aligned creatures, and Unholy waters do 2d4 points of damage when used on a Good aligned creature.

In the case of Waukeen and Ulutiu, they are still alive, but are in some way incapable of communicating with their worshipers and clergies. Karsus is a special case; he is both dead and alive at the same time, and is both a God and a Mortal. Ao left him in this chaotic state to serve as a reminder to those who might attempt similar folly in the future.

Netherese Gods: Of the pantheon that ruled over Ancient Netheril, only Amaunator and Moander are "truly" dead. Jannath has mostly withdrawn from this Crystal Sphere, however a portion of her essence left behind gave birth to a new Goddess, Chauntea. Jergal, Shar and Selune are still alive in the Realms, albiet greatly reduced in power. Kozah is an ancient name for Talos, and they are one in the same. Mystrl sacrificed herself to save the weave at the fall of Netheril, but has remanifested as Mystra. Targus is now known as Gargos, and his power is mostly gone, as Tempus is the primary God of War in the Realms. Tyche's essence split into at least two pieces during the Dawn Catclysm (The first Godswar) forming the contemporary Goddesses Tymora and Beshaba. There is also some speculation that Lathander was born of a piece of Tyche's sundered esssence, but no one can prove this one way or the other, including the Church of the Morninglord.

Amaunator - Bureaucracy, Contracts, Law, Order, The Sun, Rulership
Died of neglect / Netheril
Due to Amaunator's connection with the sun and with law, this holy water causes 1d4 points of scorching damage to any Neutral or Chaotic target. This occurs even if the target is normally immune to fire and fire-based attacks, as the fire is divine in nature. Usable by anyone.

Bane - Strife, Hatred, Tyranny
Killed by Torm / Time of Troubles
Unholy water of Bane Heals 3d4 damage to undead, instead of the normal 2d4. It will heal 4d4 if the target is a Baneguard. Usable by anyone.

Bhaal - Death, Especially Violent or Ritual Death
Killed by Cyric and Mask / Time of Troubles
This potent unholy water makes a target more vulnerable to surprise attacks. In game terms, this is a -2 to all surprise rolls for the next 72 hours (3 full days). This power is effective if the unholy water contacts bare skin, or if it is ingested. Usable only by clergy of an evil deity, or by any Thief or Assassin.

Gilgeam - Strength, Athletic Prowess, The Sky, Battle, Cities, The Land of Unther
? / Post-Time of Troubles
Ingesting this powerful Holy water gives the drinker a momentary boost of strength. Speaking in game terms, the imbiber gains 4 strength points for one round. For those with percentile strength scores (18/##), each category counts as 1 point. Usable by anyone.

Ibrandul - Caverns, Dungeons, The Underdark, Skulks
Killed by Shar / Time of Troubles
This Holy water is luminescent, and may be used just like any other permanently lighted item. The light level is equivilent to torchlight, but has a range of only 15 feet. If this vial is shattered, the light fades in 1d4 rounds. Usable by anyone.

Karsus - Folly of Overweening Arrogance and Ambition, Unending Hubris
Wishing he could die / Netheril, See Above
As Karsus was only a deity for an instant, he never had any priests, and therefore no Holy Water. The cult that sprang up after his demise created several concotions, but none of these had any real power; most were simply herbal drinks with strong psychological side-effects.

Leira - Deception, Illusion
Killed by Cyric and Mask / Post-Time of Troubles
There are three types of Leiran holy water, but all have similar effects. They each make the imbiber more resistant to divinations of one sort or another for one hour. This is the same as a +1 to saves versus (Pick One) ESP, Detect Lie, Know Alignment. In the case of ESP (which allows no save normally) a normal save is allowed with *NO* bonuses of any kind (Base chance by class and level only). Usable by anyone.

Moander - Rotting Death, Decay, Corruption
Killed by Finder / Pre-Time of Troubles
The unholy water of the Rotting God is among the foulest concoctions in existence. Any living being struck by this water must make a save versus paralyzation or be unable to take any action other than uncontrollable retching for 1d3 rounds. Usable by anyone.

Myrkul - The Dead, Wasting, Decay, Corruption, Parasites, Old Age, Exhaustion, Dusk, Autumn
Killed by Mystra / Time of Troubles
This unholy water's true nature cannot be divined by anyone other than a priest of Myrkul until it is used. Pouring this water on the any remains that have been dead less than 2000 years gives the user instant knowledge of how the being died. There is no vision, only knowledge. (i.e. This man was killed by a spear.) No other information can be gained with additional uses. Usable by anyone.

Tchazzar (aka Tiamat) - Evil Dragons
Dead, but reforming?
What little is left of the clergy of this fallen Deity is extremely secretive about their practices and holy items. Nothing is known about this un-holy water (if one even exists).

Ulutiu - Glaciers, Frozen Seas, Polar Environments, Arctic Dwellers
Not Dead; Just Slumbering
This holy water will never change temperature, no matter what environs or conditions it is subjected to. It will always be a steady 40 degrees (Farenheit). The water may be used normally, and is often carried as drinking water in extremely hot and extremely cold regions. Usable by anyone.

Waukeen - Trade, Money, Wealth
Not Dead; Imprisoned by Graz'zt
This water appears clear, but it can be used as ink. Anything written in this ink is immune to all methods of erasing, magical or mundane, as long as Waukeen is in power. Unfortunately, she is missing at current, and therefore the water is useless until such time as she returns. Usable by anyone.
