Holy Water of the Minor Forgotten Realms Gods
These special powers are usable by any character unless a special class restriction or other limiting factor is noted. No holy water is barred from anyone, but a priest would have severe reservations about using the waters of a radically opposed faith.
All Holy waters do 2d4 damage to Evil aligned creatures, and Unholy waters do 2d4 points of damage when used on a Good aligned creature.
Bombadil - Wine, Vineyards, Brewing
If poured into wine that has turned to vinegar, it will restore the wine to it's original quality. Usable by anyone.
Finder Wyvernspur - The Cycle of Life, Transformation of Art, Saurials
Finder only recently ascended into Godhood, and thus has no special Holy water. His priests rarely even employ "normal" Holy water.
Gargos - War, Skill-at-Arms, Destruction, Plunder
This Unholy water places the drinker into a state identical to berserk fury (See Berserker Kit for details). Usable by anyone.
Gargauth - Betrayl, Cruelty, Political Corruption, Ill Council, Self-Serving Advisors, Political Puppetmasters, Powerbrokers, Powermongers
The drinker of this Unholy water gains the equivilent of Undetectable Lie, the reversed form of the Detect Lie Spell, for one hour. Only Holy water of Tyr is known to overpower this effect. Usable by anyone.
Gwaeron Windstrom - Tracking, Interpreting Woodland Signs, Rangers of the North
Gwaeron's Holy water will restore footprints or other marks that have been damaged by the passage of time. The water will reverse 1 day worth of decay for every pint used, to a maximum of on 2 weeks. Usable by anyone with the tracking NWP proficiency, double duration for Gwaeron's Priests and Rangers.
Hoar - Revenge, Retribution, Poetic Justice
When actively seeking revenge on a person(s), this holy water will allow the drinker to track his prey as long as he has a place to start tracking from where the user was known to be within the last 3 months. Usable by anyone who is actively seeking revenge for themselves or another.
Jergal - Fatalism, Order in Death, Proper Burial, Guardian of Tombs, Protector of the Names of the Dead
As Jergal's clergy does not follow the adventuring life, Holy (or Unholy) water of the Lord of the End of Everything has never been seen outside of his temples. As far as is known, it finds use only in rituals and has no special powers.
Lurue the Unicorn Queen - Talking Beasts, Intelligent Non-Humanoid Creatures
Grants the drinker to understand the speach of the next talking being encountered. This water in no fashion grants the ability to speak an unfamiliar language, however. Usable by any non evil aligned human or demihuman, double duration for clergy of Lurue, Rangers and Druids.
Nobanion - Lions, Good-Aligned Beasts, Lammasu, Wemics, Werelions, Felines, Noble Beasts, Royalty
If the royal (or lack thereof) background of an individual is in question, consumption of this Holy water will divine the truth. The drinker will be able to recite his entire lineage, and will do so involuntarily. The words he speaks are always absolute truth, and the individual has no power to alter them. Usable by anyone.
The Red Knight - Strategy, Planning
The drinker of this Holy water gains 1d4 additional (temporary) hit points. Subtract any damage from these first. The phantom hit points vanish after 24 hours. Usable by anyone.
Savras - Divinations, Divination Magic, Diviners, Fate, Truth, Truth-Speakers
All bottles of Savras's Holy water are clear glass or crystal, and are spherical in shape. A priest can see through the gemstone by closing his eyes and concentrating for 1 round. If the bottle is moved after being used in this manner, it's power is lost, and it must be re blessed at a temple of The All Seeing One. Usable only by clergy of Savras.
Sharess - Hedonism, Excess, Lust, Sensual Fullfillment, Festhalls, Cats, Pleasure Seekers
Use of this Holy water grants +1 Charisma for 12 hours. Usable by anyone.
Shiallia - The High Forest, Neverwinter Wood, Woodland Glades, Woodland Fertility, Growth, Koreds
When applied or drank by a pregnant forest creature of natural, non magical origans (giant weasels are OK, but Ki-Rins are not), this holy water insures ease of birthing and a greater chance of strong, healthy young. Usable by anyone.
Siamorphe - Nobles, Nobility, Rightful Rule of Nobility, Human Royalty
If the royal (or lack thereof) background of an individual is in question, consumption of this Holy water will divine the truth. The drinker will be able to recite his entire lineage, and will do so involuntarily. The words he speaks are always absolute truth, and the individual has no power to alter them. Usable by anyone.
Uthgar - The Uthgardt Barbarians, Physical Strength
As his followers are mostly more primitive and distrustful of magic they cannot see their shaman cast, there is no Holy water for this faith.
Valkur - Sailors, The Safety of Ships, Favorable Winds, Naval Combat
Pouring this Holy water over any item of cloth, paper, parchment, vellum, or other has the effect of (oddly enough) waterproofing it. The item will not become wet from this treatment, and the waterproof seal lasts as long as Valkur is in power. Usable by anyone.
Velsharoon - Necromancy, Necromancers, Lichdom, Evil Liches, Undeath
Mixing this holy water with a potion of lichdom increases favorable results by 10%. Usable by Wizards.
