Constanta, Romania is a large coastal town and bustling port on the Black Sea. This is Jewelia's home town, and where our group has chosen to settle down.

- Janos, Jewelia's Underworld contact. He runs the local bait shop, which sells very little bait, but fences many different kinds of merchendise.

The Others
- Lucas, a vicissituded man we rescued from Lord Suro's. Daniella restored his body and improved his appearance to 2. He was originally kidnapped from Constantanople. He now works for us, and is in charge of our stables.
- Shandi, the virgin sacrifice at Lord Suro's. Shandi came from a large family that ran a farm, who sold her off when they weren't able to afford all their children. Shandi is beautiful (App 4) but not very healthy (Sta 1). Shandi is being supported by Olof, she lives in an apartment Olof rents for her. She also works at Jano's bait shop, helping him to clean up a few hours a day. She's saving her money for a dowery, and dreams of marrying Olof.
Snelly's Merchant Company and Warehouse
- Melcher - An old man who serves as a doorman and guard at Snelly's warehouse.
- Jillian Cooper Steniburger - scribe (Jewelia's sister)

The Steniburger Family
- Kristof and Karolina Steniburger, the mayor's son & his wife.
Kristof has a mistress, Sibylla. Sibylla is cute and young, but not too bright. It's pretty much known and accepted in town that she is his mistress.
Karolina is intimate with her personal maid, Zorine. This is not well known even within the Steniburger family.
- Theadore Steniburger, Kristof and Karolina's first son. Likes to have fun with friends and gamble, not much of a business sense. Married to Jillian.
- Suzan Steniburger, Kristof and Karolina's son. Quiet and ladylike. Currently sneaking out to talk with Libor, their family's gardener. Libor is the 3rd son of 8 children to a local farming family.
- Toma Steniburger, Kristof and Karolina's second son. Naturally distrustful of others, a user.
The Cooper Family
Jewelia's mortal family. Her father had a bad habit of gambling, which eventually led to their family getting sold into indentured servitude.
- Jewelia's mother Margaret (Meg) is currently off work while arranging Jillian's wedding, but plans on going back to sewing sails.
- Jewelia's older sister Jillian (Jilly) is married to the mayor's grandson Theadore Steniburger. She also works for Snelly at his business, doing scribe work (mostly a lot of copying documents). Jillian is 3 years older then Jewelia.
- Their younger brother Arthur James (AJ) lives with his adoptive family, but comes to visit. AJ is 6 years younger then Jewelia.
- Their father James is buried behind the house.
William's Inn
Nicest of the 3 Inns in town, William runs a quiet clean Inn and has great food.

The BookWorm
Novak runs the town's paper and book store. They have all kinds of paper available, and they do custom designs and imprints as well. Their blank books are very high quality, and the custom orders are top notch work.
Novak is a frail, elderly man in poor health. He is a very learned man, and knows much about herbs and medicines. His wife died several years ago.
His daughter Elisabet is deformed on her right side of her skeleton, and has vision problems as well. Yet she is a cheerful friendly girl who is always smiling.
Yakkov's WoodWorkings - Yakkov makes well made furniture, and can do intricate carvings as well. A tall man with dark curly hair and a baby face.
Colin's Honest Horses - the town's best horse trainer, Colin runs a stable outside of town and often has horses available for sale.
Monsignoir Rojovick - second in charge at the church, he's not personally corrupt (a rarity in the church in this town) but he doesn't say anything about what he sees going on.
The Wharf Inn - Helgard runs the town's local 'dive', it's a rather loud and rowdy Inn by the docks. Mostly has bunkhouse style common room accomidations, but has a few private rooms. Drunken sailors make for poor company, but good feeding.
